Frequently asked questions
Can staff sell tickets in person on event day?
Yes. The box office lets staff build a cart of tickets and add-ons, collect customer information, and take payment in person—so walk-up sales land in the same reporting as online orders.
What hardware do we need for card payments at the door?
Tixoola supports Stripe Terminal card readers for tap and chip payments, with a manual card entry fallback, and Square card forms where Square is your processor. A phone or tablet is enough to get started.
How do buyers get tickets sold at the box office?
Staff can print tickets on the spot or send them to the buyer by email or text, so gate scanning works the same for box-office and online purchases.
How do we keep register activity accountable?
Staff sign in to the box office with individual PIN numbers, so sales are attributable and you can control who can sell at each location.
